The American Society of History, Arts and Letters Is Established in Orlando, Florida

The American Society of History, Arts and Letters (ASHAL) has been established in Orlando, Florida, as an international academic and cultural society devoted to the study, preservation, and dissemination of knowledge in History, Literature, the Arts, Culture, and Science.

ASHAL was founded on a simple conviction: knowledge should be shared, preserved, and made accessible across borders, generations, and disciplines. The Society brings together writers, historians, researchers, artists, and educators, and supports their work through publications, educational projects, academic activities, and cultural programs.

The Society is now opening its founding chapter. Applications to its academic categories are open, and its associate categories welcome anyone who wishes to accompany the Society's work — beginning with a free Friend Associate enrollment.

ASHAL invites scholars, writers, artists, and readers on both sides of the Americas to take part in the building of an institution designed to last.
