ASHAL Bulletin No. 1 — The Founding Chapter

The Society. The American Society of History, Arts and Letters was established in 2025 in Orlando, Florida, as an international academic and cultural society. Its purpose is the production, preservation, and international dissemination of knowledge in History, Literature, the Arts, Culture, and Science.

Membership. The Society's academic categories — Founding Member, Academic Fellow, Corresponding Member, and International Member — are open to application and subject to institutional review. Alongside them, the associate categories offer a distinct form of participation, without admission to the Academic Body: Friend (free), Cultural, Benefactor, and Patron Associate. Members of the Academic Body may also join the Academic Patronage Circle.

Publications. The Society publishes Academic Articles, and will publish Bulletins, News, and Poetry & Literary Works as its editorial program grows. Contributions from members are welcome.

What comes next. The founding chapter closes when the Founding Members are confirmed and published. Until then, this Bulletin will record the Society's institutional milestones as they happen.
